Critical Care Outreach Practitioner CNS Band 7

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Critical Care Outreach Practitioner CNS to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to acutely unwell patients across our site.
About the RoleThe Critical Care Outreach Practitioner CNS will work collaboratively with the Multidisciplinary Team to provide safe and effective care in ward areas. This will involve recognizing and responding to acutely ill and deteriorating patients, ensuring timely interventions by the most appropriate member of the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the MDT to provide high-quality care in ward areas
- Recognize and respond to acutely ill and deteriorating patients
- Ensure timely interventions by the most appropriate member of the healthcare team
- Teach and assess clinical skills in practice
- Audit patient outcomes and service delivery
The successful candidate will have relevant acute/critical care experience, leadership and shift leading experience, and a recognized Critical Care or relevant Acute Care Course. They will also have advanced patient assessment and critical thinking skills, established team/shift leading skills, and collaborative MDT working skills.
