Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Analytics Manager to oversee the Marketing division at the National Trust. This role will guide a skilled team of data analysts and marketing professionals to assess and enhance multi-channel marketing initiatives and supporter experiences. As a pivotal leader, you will define the vision and strategic direction for your team, providing valuable insights to the organization regarding our audience engagement and the effectiveness of National Trust marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Supporter Data & Customer Journeys team, you will be accountable for delivering marketing and audience analytics to various stakeholders within the Trust.

Your role will involve developing and empowering your team to utilize our advanced marketing and data platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Intelligence, Tableau, and Snowflake) to conduct thorough analyses, identify trends in audience behavior, and present findings in a clear, actionable manner that aids stakeholders in understanding audience needs. You will also lead the implementation of our marketing segmentation strategy to facilitate personalized customer journeys.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential, building upon existing foundations to ensure appropriate data access for marketing and other departments within the Trust. You will partner with IT and Data teams to uphold data quality standards and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

  • Proven experience as an organized and inspiring team leader with a track record of developing data analysts.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in customer analytics and segmentation strategies.
  • Expertise in cross-channel marketing analytics, including channel performance and attribution.
  • A methodical approach to defining and delivering analytics and insights.
  • The ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights that inform business investment decisions.
  • Strong communication skills to convey intricate information effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with databases, data models, SQL, and marketing analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in creating data-driven customer journeys and experiences.
