Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager to oversee the Marketing division at the National Trust. This pivotal role will guide a team of skilled data analysts and marketing professionals to assess and enhance multi-channel marketing initiatives and supporter experiences. As a key leader, you will establish the vision and strategy for your team, providing valuable insights to the organization regarding our audience and the effectiveness of National Trust marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities

As part of the Supporter Data & Customer Journeys team, you will be tasked with delivering marketing and audience analytics to various stakeholders across the Trust.

Your role will involve developing and mentoring your team to utilize our advanced marketing and data platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Intelligence, Tableau, and Snowflake). You will support them in conducting thorough analyses, identifying trends in audience behavior, and presenting findings in a clear, actionable manner that aids stakeholders in understanding audience needs. You will also guide the implementation of our marketing segmentation strategy to facilitate personalized customer journeys.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential, building upon existing foundations to ensure appropriate data access for marketing and other departments within the Trust. You will partner with IT and Data teams to uphold data quality standards and comply with data privacy regulations.

  • Proven experience as an organized and inspiring team leader, having successfully developed a team of data analysts.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in customer analytics and segmentation strategies.
  • Expertise in cross-channel marketing analytics, channel performance, and attribution.
  • A methodical approach to scoping and delivering analytics and insights.
  • The ability to distill complex analyses into actionable insights that inform business investment decisions.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex information effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with databases, data models, SQL, and marketing and digital analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in creating data-driven customer journeys and experiences.
