About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Editor to join our team at Marks and Spencer. As a key member of our Food Marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality editorial content and campaigns across various channels, including online, email, direct mail, and app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with our brand's tone of voice and messaging.
  • Manage and oversee online and catalogue copywriting content teams, ensuring that all content meets our high standards.
  • Write and edit engaging content, including recipes, features, and marketing pages, that showcase our products and brand.
  • Brief and coordinate photography shoots, ensuring that images reflect our brand's aesthetic and tone.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement content campaigns that drive business results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, and apply this knowledge to improve our content strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content marketing, with a focus on editorial content and campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone and style requirements.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including design, photography, and marketing.
  • Passion for food and marketing, with a deep understanding of our brand's values and tone of voice.
