Company Overview

Blanco Niño is a rapidly growing, award-winning, premium Mexican food brand known for exceptional quality, traditional cooking methods, and its advocacy and trailblazing of regenerative farming practices.

The business sells a foodservice (B2B) offering across 17 European markets and the Middle East, and a retail (B2B + B2C) offering across 2 European markets. The major focus markets are the UK and Ireland for the retail offering, with significant opportunity across the European continent for business expansion utilizing the existing distribution network.

The company's mission statement is 'To produce Mexican food products that make us proud and accelerate the transition to generative farming in the process.'

Job Summary

The business is at a very exciting juncture with a highly experienced and passionate team, and we are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join us.

The current team is made up of a brand manager who is finishing at the end of the year, to move to Australia, and an illustrator on a 3-day week contract. A key component of the new role will be evolving and growing the marketing team and function sustainably in line with business ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
  • Drive brand awareness and customer engagement through campaigns through brand collaborations, social, and traditional channels.
  • Lead the development and implementation of retailer marketing and joint business plans in collaboration with the sales team for new product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand partnerships.

Content & Creative Development

  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content that resonates and inspires our customers, including social media, email marketing, website content, and PR materials.
  • Collaborate internally and with external third parties to ensure all content reflects the brand's voice, values, and quality.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and optimize our digital presence, including the company website, social media channels, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Utilize SEO and other digital marketing techniques to drive traffic, conversions, and sales.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of digital campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.

Brand Management

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touch points, maintaining the integrity and premium positioning of the brand.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's commitment to traditional cooking methods, quality ingredients, and regenerative farming principles.

Market Research & Customer Insights

  • Conduct market research to understand consumer buying decisions and preferences.
  • Use customer insights to inform marketing strategies.

Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Identify and build strategic partnerships with complementary brands, influencers, and industry stakeholders.

Budget Management

  • Working with the business's finance director, develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and return on investment.
