About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Transformation Programme Lead to join our team at Northampton General Hospital. As a key member of our Digital Transformation and Innovation senior management team, you will be responsible for leading, delivering, and implementing complex digital programmes that support our Digital Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programme Leadership: Develop, lead, and manage the delivery of programmes associated with our Group Digital Strategy, including multiple projects or initiatives of significant size, complexity, and risk.
  • Project Assurance: Manage programme milestones, interdependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring every project has a scoped project plan with clear roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, timescales, and benefits realisation metrics.
  • Partnership Working: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Digital and Data leaders across the Integrated Care System (ICS) and region, ensuring initiatives are aligned with the wider healthcare system and based on lessons learned.
  • Communication and Relationships: Establish excellent relationships with senior members, staff at all levels, external bodies, and stakeholders, supporting the implementation of transformation programmes through leadership, motivation, and inspiration.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Master's level education or equivalent experience working at a senior level leading digital transformation programmes in a complex environment.
  • Knowledge and Experience: In-depth specialist professional knowledge across multiple disciplines, including digital transformation, product development, project management, service design, risk management, assurance, and compliance, and staff management.
  • Skills: Highly developed decision-making and organisation skills, ability to apply project management methodologies, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to support senior management teams.
