About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Architect to join our team at Barclays, where you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop innovative solutions to complex business problems, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Develop solutions that balance technology risks against business delivery, driving consistency and excellence.
  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technologies and platforms that drive business value.
  • Develop and maintain architecture inputs required to comply with Barclays' governance processes, including design artefacts for architecture, privacy, security, and records management.

  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
