Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Department Manager to join our team at Infinity Resource Solutions. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading the Automation Department and ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to engineers and visit sites as required
  • Order stock and ensure timely delivery
  • Deal with customer technical problems and provide solutions
  • Conduct on-site audits of engineer installs and servicing
  • Ensure installations are completed on time and within budget
  • Perform ladder checks, equipment calibration, and vehicle checks
  • Fulfill on-site duties in the absence of engineers
  • Provide information and complete appraisals with management
  • Conduct H&S risk assessments
  • Ensure engineers have up-to-date and correct PPE
  • Supervise the fabrication workshop
  • Provide CAD drawing expertise

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in automation installation and management
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping
  • Able to take instructions and work individually or as part of a team
  • Organized and tidy work manner
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for work
  • Professional and respectful attitude
  • Conscientious and honest
  • Valid UK driving license
