About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. As a Staff Nurse on our North Walsham Ward, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate care to a named group of patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Work effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Participate in the rotation of shifts, including nights and days, to ensure 24/7 coverage of the ward.
  • Work proactively to achieve unit and trust goals and objectives, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless handovers and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and delivering care to patients with multiple pathologies.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
