IT Support Engineer - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Owen Daniels Consultancy is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for the installation and upgrade of personal computer hardware and software, as well as server maintenance.
- Hardware and Software Configuration: Build and configure new laptops and PCs to meet the needs of our clients.
- Collaboration and Guidance: Work with IT site leaders and take guidance and direction to execute IT tasks.
- Strategic Implementation: Assist in the implementation of strategies, including Active Directory, Backup Solutions, printing solutions, mobile devices, network strategies, storage and compute, Disaster Recovery, etc.
- User Documentation and Training: Create user documentation and develop training materials to ensure our clients' staff are equipped to use our systems effectively.
- Compliance and Security: Comply with legal and local regulatory rules, including software licensing and confidentiality of employee records.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Good knowledge and working experience of Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint.
- Network Patching: Perform network patching to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' systems.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in Desktop/desk-side support is essential for this role.
