About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Night Manager to join our team at Bloc Hotel Gatwick. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift, maintaining high levels of customer service, and leading a team of night staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the security of the hotel during the night shift
  • Ensure the highest level of attention to detail when overseeing the completion of the night auditing process
  • Balance and bank cash in accordance with the Company Policy
  • Prepare and generate reports for the Cluster General Manager, Reception Manager, and other Senior Members of the Bloc Team
  • Manage and maintain administration of all reservations during the night shift
  • Lead in the on-going recruitment, training, and development of the night team
  • Conduct regular job chats for the night team in accordance with the company's set policies and procedures
  • Assist in the administration of the night team, including rotas, time sheets, and month-end tasks
  • Attend all relevant briefing and training sessions
  • Work and promote Health and Safety matters that do not harm or injure oneself or others
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing night role
  • Able to work evenings and weekends
  • Dedicated to detail with an ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Inclusive and collaborative, sharing responsibility and accountability for success
