About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Director to lead the design, build, implementation, and ongoing maturation of our business continuity and disaster recovery program. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, and recovering from potential incidents impacting key business objectives and/or resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a comprehensive business continuity strategy to ensure the resilience of our operations.
  • Develop and maintain Business Impact Assessments and Business Continuity Plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of critical business functions.
  • Lead the creation, updating, and implementation of continuity policies, objectives, and procedures to increase operational resilience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective business continuity planning and response.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure business continuity is integrated into the organization's overall risk management strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our business continuity program remains effective and compliant.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in business continuity management, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Experience with business continuity planning, risk assessment, and crisis management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 22301 and ISO 27001.
