Human Resources Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting our strategic plan to deliver a mission-ready organization fit for the future.
Key Responsibilities- HR Advisory Services: Provide expert advice and support to line managers on complex HR and payroll queries and issues throughout the employee lifecycle.
- HR Administration: Manage all HR administration within the team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency within agreed service level agreements.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with the Head of People, Payroll, and Process to review and oversee HR and payroll policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with legislation.
- Employee Relations: Support the Head of People, Payroll, and Process in conducting interviews, investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances related to absence, conduct, and capability.
- Workforce Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to create an engaged workforce through staff feedback and engagement initiatives.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the processing of the monthly payroll as required.
- Training and Development: Provide coaching and training to new line managers on HR policies and procedures.
- HR Reporting: Analyze and provide accurate reports on HR management information to monitor trends, ensure compliance, and review HR performance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous HR management experience and a good level of general HR knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and software.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £41,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including:
