MSL is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our safety and regulatory team. As a key member of the team, you will assist the regulatory team leader(s) and managers in the day-to-day running of various tasks as required.

About the Role:

In this role, you will take ownership of MSL's Safety Data Sheets (SDS) offering, building on this service and increasing our offering to include other similar regulatory services. You will contribute to existing projects for EU/UK and US cosmetic regulatory clients, supporting the growth and development of the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Author Safety Data Sheets: Develop and maintain Safety Data Sheets to global requirements (inc. EU, North American and Asian requirements) using SDS authoring software.
  2. Generate Regulatory Documents: Create UFI Codes and Poison Centre Notifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Provide Regulatory Advice: Offer cosmetic regulatory advice to clients, with training provided if required.
  4. Conduct Regulatory Reviews: Undertake gap analysis reviews for USA cosmetic products under FDA (MOCRA) and State requirements, with training provided if required.
  5. Prepare Regulatory Reports: Prepare and collect information required to create Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs), with training provided if required.
  6. Review Product Artwork: Review and create cosmetic product artwork ingredient lists (INCI) for compliance with EU/UK (and preferably USA and Canada) regulations.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in authoring SDS (preferred)

Work Environment:
