Job Title: Infection Prevention and Control SpecialistAbout the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Infection Prevention and Control Specialist at Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures
  • Conduct surveillance and audits to identify and manage healthcare-associated infections
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on infection prevention and control practices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies to prevent and control infections
  • Monitor and report on infection rates and trends
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on infection prevention and control
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in infection prevention and control
  • Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
