About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Lyons Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the firm's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the firm's financial operations, including cash flow management, financial analysis, and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Solicitors Accounts Rules and VAT regulations.
  • Supervise and guide a team of financial professionals, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to our clients, including financial planning and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic financial plans.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a law firm or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including the Solicitors Accounts Rules and VAT regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
