Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Locum Mental Health Practitioner at Staff Partners Mental Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing mental health support services to individuals in need within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Offer counseling and therapy services to clients, promoting emotional well-being and resilience.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support services to clients in need, ensuring timely and effective response.

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate diploma in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Registration with a professional body, such as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Significant experience in mental health assessment and intervention, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • Previous locum work experience is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
