Senior Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our CAMHS team in Mid Essex. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people, working closely with families and carers to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people's mental health needs, including risk and safety planning.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including individual and group therapies, to address a range of mental health presentations.
- Provide supervision and support to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and ensuring high-quality care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
- Qualification in a core profession (Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology).
- Registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, NMC, UKCP, BABCP).
- Experience working in a relevant NHS setting or similar, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people.
- Strong assessment, formulation, and risk management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
