We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Mental Health Services team in Mid Essex. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people, working closely with families and carers to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services. As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and young people's mental health needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, working closely with families and carers
- Providing evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed practice
- Supervising and supporting junior staff members
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualification in a core profession (social work, mental health nursing, psychotherapy, or clinical psychology)
- Registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, NMC, UKCP, or BABCP)
- Experience working with children and young people with mental health presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
