Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a co-education secondary school provision for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who can provide high-quality support to students with complex needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a personalized approach to education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
