We are seeking a highly skilled Turn Operations & Performance Lead to join our team at Gatwick Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of a ground performance delivery plan, maximizing the use of airfield infrastructure to enable growth through the delivery of On Time Performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a ground performance delivery plan to maximize the use of airfield infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, ANSP, and flow planning teams to deliver operational safety and on-time performance.
  • Ensure the highest safety standards in the apron areas, embodying the Just Culture in underwing activities.
  • Manage airfield ground handling and service partners across the airfield environment.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of aircraft ground and flight operations, airport air navigation service provision.
  • Knowledge and experience in leading a large safety and regulatory-focused operational setting.
  • Experienced in the management of 3rd party service providers.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, evidenced in statistical improvement programs.
  • Experience operating in a highly commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels.
  • Exposure to crisis management events.
  • Experience in delivering improvement plans across multiple stakeholders.
