We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our team at Gatwick Airport. As a Field Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of complex projects across our airport.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Work closely with the Project Management team to supervise multi-disciplined construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Site Safety: Deliver regular site safety engagement to ensure an emphasis on and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and promote a positive HSE culture.
- Quality Control: Review contractor CDM and quality and commissioning submittals for quality and compliance, and inspect work to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering colleagues to ensure all works are installed to plan.
- Experience: Served as a Field Engineer, Site Engineer, NEC Supervisor, or Clerk of Works in the construction or civil engineering sectors, managing multi-year projects valued at up to £10 million.
- Skills: Skilled in project handover and closeout processes, proficient in identifying and resolving HSE issues related to construction, and well-versed in quality management principles and practices.
