About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Facilities Operations Coordinator to support our Facilities Manager in the day-to-day running of our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site services, supervising contractors, and responding to maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site services, including hard and soft service contracts, to ensure a high standard of maintenance and upkeep.
  • Supervise contractors and ensure that necessary health and safety paperwork is obtained prior to works commencing.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs and maintenance, or organize external contractor visits, to address any issues with facility assets and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance actions to support the Health and Safety Team, including fire safety checks and temperature monitoring of outlets to manage the risk of Legionella.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of building assets and lab equipment, including HVAC filter changes and replacement of parts/components on purified water systems.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in the day-to-day running of site, including organizing and supervising contractor works.
  • Raise and submit purchase requests to the Admin Team for facilities spend items, including contractor repair/improvement works, service contracts, parts, and ad-hoc items.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in routinely reviewing service contracts to ensure they represent best value and re-tender service contracts as needed.
  • Take a lead in delivery of smaller-scale projects, such as installation of facility assets.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in delivery of building refurb and fit-out projects.
