About the Role

eCapital Commercial Finance UK is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to join our Operations team in Reading. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively managing client relationships across a diverse portfolio of funding lines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and engage a team to deliver exceptional operational service to clients within their allocated portfolios, setting targets to achieve this objective.
  • Conduct monthly portfolio reviews with Client Managers, ensuring a thorough analysis of client performance in conjunction with risk assessment.
  • Drive team performance, with Line Management of Client Managers, to meet company and individual targets outlined in development plans and 1:1 meetings.
  • Client Visits and Onboarding Meetings to ensure seamless integration and effective risk management.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams and Client Managers to drive the Take On Process, ensuring timely onboarding and compliance.
  • Analyze data, including book debt documentation, client contracts, financial information, and cash flows, to determine risk levels associated with clients.
  • Proactively manage client complaints, escalating them through appropriate channels or adhering to UK Finance complaint policies.
  • Negotiate funding and fee agreements with clients, maintaining strong relationships and securing their commitment to eCapital Commercial Finance UK.
  • Cover Client Managers in their absence, managing client payment requests, uploading invoices, and raising necessary paperwork.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of eCapital Commercial Finance UK client legal documentation.
