POSITION: NC PROCUREMENT TRANSFORMATION MANAGER

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

ROLE OVERVIEW

The NC Procurement Transformation Manager is accountable for assisting the Group Head of NC Procurement in formulating and executing the comprehensive NC procurement strategy and annual objectives. This position is essential for coordinating and managing the implementation of the integrated Global Procurement Plan, ensuring effective achievement planning, dependency management, plan reporting, and suggesting necessary adjustments to the plan. Additionally, this role is responsible for delivering global projects and initiatives while providing organizational change and knowledge management support to sub-functions, aiding them in achieving their targets through analytical insights and reports.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the execution of the coordinated Procurement Plan in collaboration with Global and Regional partners to ensure effective geographic achievement planning, dependency management, and reporting, while recommending adjustments to the plan as needed. Strategy Development & Execution: Assist the Group Head of NC Procurement and Category Managers in driving the formulation and execution of procurement strategies and reporting. Work alongside multi-functional teams to ensure effective integration of Procurement strategies into the broader operational framework. Process Design & Enhancement: Develop and refine procurement processes, showcasing industry best practices and new technologies evaluated as part of the transformation initiative. Conduct assessments of new technologies to determine their compatibility with existing workflows. Partner Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and Transformation Workstream Leads to align procurement transformation initiatives with overall program objectives. Engage with key partners to understand business needs and incorporate feedback into procurement workstreams. Market Insights: Provide expert analysis on market trends, benchmarking, and emerging technologies to foster continuous improvement in Procurement strategies, business insights, and digital transformation. Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to ensure the smooth adoption of new procurement strategies, processes, and technologies. Support the development of training programs for procurement teams to enhance their capabilities.

The Procurement function operates globally, delivering both direct and indirect procurement services to Operations and Commercial sectors, with superior management of categories and suppliers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Experience

Proven track record in managing workstreams within global programs. Experience in leading complex projects aimed at enhancing performance and service delivery, underpinned by strong project management skills.

Skills & Qualifications:

Procurement Expertise: Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier relationship management, and procurement operations. Business Strategy Acumen: Strong understanding of procurement's role within global supply chain operations and its alignment with corporate and operational strategies. Process Knowledge: Solid grasp of existing procurement processes with a proven ability to design, optimize, and implement innovative procurement workflows. Technology Skills: Proficiency in procurement technologies such as Coupa and SAP. Digital Understanding: Familiarity with how digital tools and technologies can enhance and optimize procurement processes. Procurement Operating Model: Comprehensive understanding of the procurement operating model at both central and local levels, with the ability to align strategies accordingly. Accountability: Self-motivated individual capable of taking ownership of initiatives and driving projects to completion within set timelines. Innovation: Continuously seeks and proposes creative solutions to procurement challenges, embracing a forward-thinking approach. Problem-Solving: Skilled in addressing challenges with a creative mindset, offering unique and effective solutions to complex procurement issues. Partner Management: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on professional communication and collaboration.
