We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic management team in a bustling retail setting. This role is pivotal in supporting the Store Manager to ensure that our store delivers an exceptional customer experience, in line with our company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor Store Team Members (STMs) to foster their growth and development.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service in accordance with company expectations.
  • Align STM capabilities with customer needs to enhance service delivery.
  • Oversee daily operations to maintain a seamless flow of sales and service.
  • Ensure that merchandising standards are upheld and the store is visually appealing.
  • Manage team performance, attendance, and appearance in collaboration with the Store Manager and People Operations.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain a well-organized and ready-to-trade shop floor.
  • Address customer complaints and returns efficiently, escalating when necessary.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and development for STMs through coaching and performance reviews.
  • Handle first-level People Operations matters, including return-to-work interviews and performance management.
  • Supervise store closing procedures and ensure proper cash handling.
