Role Overview

At Deichmann, we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Retail Manager. This position offers a full-time, permanent contract with a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum.

Initial Responsibilities

Initially, you will be stationed at one of our retail locations, with opportunities to assist and manage various stores as needed. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic Team Member or Supervisor eager to advance into a managerial position.

Training and Development

You will receive comprehensive training and development, including opportunities to manage stores on both a scheduled and unscheduled basis. The goal is to prepare you for a potential role as a Cover Manager, and eventually, to lead your own store.

Key Requirements

  • Flexibility in travel is essential, as you will be required to work across multiple locations.
  • Previous experience in retail or a related field is necessary.
  • You should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service is crucial.

Main Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide the team to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Set a strong example by promoting and recommending complementary products, showcasing confidence in sales and product knowledge.
  • Manage staffing schedules and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee inventory management.
  • Analyze sales performance data and generate reports.
  • Propose strategies for enhancing sales performance based on data analysis and customer insights.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards in merchandising and administration.
  • Support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain company standards.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of team members.

Compensation

The salary for this position is set at £28,000.
