About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Category Manager to join our team at MorePeople and take on a key role in influencing retailers with category insights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving engagement with the Category Strategy with targeted grocery retailers, enabling excellent execution of brand plans and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize continuous data sources to guide and support the commercial team in developing relationships with retailers to understand their shoppers.
  • Lead the way in category-based selling, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders through continuous data, shopper, and category knowledge.
  • Champion the voice of the shopper and demonstrate category thought leadership.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in FMCG (Food & Fresh Produce) category management, with a preference for experience in the Sainsburys sector.
  • Proven experience in leading and influencing retailer category reviews.
  • Experience in building collaborative retailer relationships and influencing their decisions.
  • Experience in utilizing data provider tools and databases, such as Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, and SIP.
  • Experience in influencing and shaping marketing plans.
  • A proven track record of creating strategic change that shapes the thinking and delivery of business results.
