Lead Cybersecurity Analyst – up to £65,000

Location: London/ Hybrid

VIQU Limited is on the lookout for a seasoned Lead Cybersecurity Analyst to become a vital part of our client's security team.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing security protocols while aiding in governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and evaluate security incidents, alerts, and events to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate external penetration testing to uncover weaknesses in systems, services, and applications.
  • Assist in Third Party Security Evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure robust security measures and risk reduction strategies.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Deliver security awareness training to staff and foster a culture of security consciousness.
  • Support compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001 and other pertinent frameworks.
  • Engage in incident response activities and aid in security incident investigations.

This position emphasizes security implementation while also incorporating elements of Governance, Risk, and Compliance strategies.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security analysis, risk management, or similar fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant security frameworks.
  • Experience managing Microsoft Entra ID & M365 – Intune, Microsoft Defender, Purview.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, GRC processes, and tools.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security technologies.
  • Experience with security assessment and monitoring tools.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
