Position Overview: This role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities that will provide the ideal candidate with valuable experience and insight into the operations of a professional office environment, particularly within a City Law Firm. The Apprenticeship will facilitate learning in Business Administration through both theoretical and practical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a vital member of the fee earner support team
  • Delivering exceptional client service
  • Managing filing systems, including the initiation and closure of files
  • Organizing and compiling comprehensive document collections
  • Handling the filing of legal documents, correspondence, and other paperwork
  • Assisting in the administration of file archiving and retrieval services
  • Performing scanning, photocopying, and printing tasks
  • Carrying out ad hoc administrative duties as necessary
  • Providing support and coverage for administrative personnel and assisting other departments as needed
  • Managing incoming and outgoing postal duties
  • Covering reception duties when required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience in an administrative capacity is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a systematic and logical approach
