About the Role

We're a leading provider of hire solutions, and we're looking for a talented Merchant Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, providing expert assistance with their hire needs, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the HSS dedicated area within our partnering builder's merchant, providing expert assistance to customers and actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to secure repeat business and long-term loyalty.
  • Promote the branch to increase trade sales growth.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets with a customer-focused approach.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction products/equipment and a similar managerial/supervisor position in a builder's merchant or related business.
  • Strong commercial acumen with awareness of the current market.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed performance targets, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and expanding product expertise.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and resourceful.
  • Excellent organisational abilities, with a talent for balancing workloads and meeting service demands.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 7:30am until 17:30pm and Saturday 8:00am until 12:00pm (with an accumulative extra day off during the week for every 2 Saturday shifts worked).
