Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Devon County Council. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young adults in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children and young adults with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Encouraging and facilitating participation in activities and hobbies
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall well-being of the service
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young adults in a residential setting
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive environment
  • Commitment to promoting the rights and dignity of service users
