Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. (WFS). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development
    • Design and deliver training programs to meet the needs of our employees, including new hire training and ongoing professional development.
    • Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, guides, and online resources.
  • Training Delivery
    • Deliver training sessions to groups and individuals, using a variety of methods and techniques to engage and motivate learners.
    • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Training Administration
    • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including arranging for facilities, equipment, and resources.
    • Manage training records and reports, including tracking participant attendance and progress.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs.
    • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that training needs are met and that training programs are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 6 months of experience in training and development, preferably in a corporate or aviation setting.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
    • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
    • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
    • Reach above and/or below shoulder.
    • Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
    • Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
    • Lift/carry/move objects, files, and documents up to 10 pounds.
