Our client, a well-established freight forwarder based in North Yorkshire, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Internal Sales Executive to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business and building strong relationships with existing clients to drive sales growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively develop new business opportunities through telesales and occasional field sales
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to maximize potential
- Generate and calculate freight quotations and tender documents
- Draft and send sales correspondence to clients
- Follow up calls to ensure timely closure of sales
- Develop long-lasting relationships with new clients
- Manage client quotes and ensure prompt completion and follow-up
- Freight forwarding or export sales experience (ideal but not essential as training is provided)
- Proven telesales experience
- Proven success in calculating and submitting quotes and tender submissions
- Experience in negotiating with clients and/or suppliers
- Key account management experience with proven success in developing relationships
- Good administrative skills
- Good numerical skills
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Hours: 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
- Salary: £23,000 to £25,000
- Plus Commission OTE: £4,000 to £8,000
- 22 Days Holiday
- Pension
