Job Title: B2B Internal Sales Executive

Our client, a well-established freight forwarder based in North Yorkshire, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Internal Sales Executive to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business and building strong relationships with existing clients to drive sales growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively develop new business opportunities through telesales and occasional field sales
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships to maximize potential
  • Generate and calculate freight quotations and tender documents
  • Draft and send sales correspondence to clients
  • Follow up calls to ensure timely closure of sales
  • Develop long-lasting relationships with new clients
  • Manage client quotes and ensure prompt completion and follow-up
Requirements:
  • Freight forwarding or export sales experience (ideal but not essential as training is provided)
  • Proven telesales experience
  • Proven success in calculating and submitting quotes and tender submissions
  • Experience in negotiating with clients and/or suppliers
  • Key account management experience with proven success in developing relationships
  • Good administrative skills
  • Good numerical skills
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Package and Benefits:
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £23,000 to £25,000
  • Plus Commission OTE: £4,000 to £8,000
  • 22 Days Holiday
  • Pension
