Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals for a permanent role within the Blood Sciences divisions. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting the professional clinical laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:
The appointee will be expected to perform a variety of routine laboratory and administrative functions under the guidance of qualified laboratory personnel. These tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving, labeling, and distributing specimens to the appropriate departments.
  • Conducting preparatory procedures on samples.
  • Basic operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, including routine cleaning.
  • Accurate input of patient information into the laboratory information system.
  • Managing stock orders and performing general inventory duties.
  • Addressing inquiries from service users and the public.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess strong keyboard skills, the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure, and a flexible work approach. A minimum of Standard grade/national 4/5 in English and a Science subject is required, along with prior experience in a hospital laboratory setting.

Work Schedule:
Work patterns will be organized over a 7-day period to meet service requirements.
