About the Role

Mumsnet, the UK's largest parenting website, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Product Analyst to join our dynamic data team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing our website's data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive the performance and optimization of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret our web analytics data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of changes to our website.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, traffic patterns, and conversion metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, UX/UI, content, and tech teams, to implement data-driven changes and enhancements.
  • Utilize A/B testing and other experimentation methods to validate hypotheses and inform decision-making.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital analytics and marketing.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by regularly auditing digital data and troubleshooting any issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital analytics or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) and Excel for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and other experimental design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with techniques such as cohort analysis, funnel analysis, retention analysis, heat mapping, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
