Senior Health Care Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide safe and compassionate care to individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Assess and manage risk, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users.
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with service users, families, and carers.
- Participate in a flexible rostering arrangement, providing 24-hour/7 day care.
- GCSE A-D or grade 3-9 in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Apprenticeship level 3 or equivalent, such as RQF NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Care Certificate or required to achieve within 12 weeks of commencement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a 24-hour shift pattern.
- Language skills other than English.
- Experience of supervising/inducting others.
- Level 4 units in Health & Social Care.
- Experience of the speciality area.
