About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Data Administrator to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a Research Data Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our clinical trials and research studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and data support for clinical trials and research studies
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
  • Assist with data collection, cleaning, and analysis
  • Collaborate with research staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of studies
  • Develop and maintain effective systems and processes to ensure data quality and integrity

Requirements

  • Good standard of education: English, Mathematics and a science GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Computer qualification (eg. European Computer Driving License, MOST) or ability to demonstrate a high standard of proficiency in MS Office and electronic file management
  • Experience of working in the NHS or similar organisation
  • Experience of dealing with patients or the public
