Job Summary

The Department of Clinical Research at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support acute research trials and research staff in all areas of data management.

This exciting opportunity will provide administrative and data support to ensure that clinical trials and studies are set up and approved in a timely manner.

Main Duties
  • Provide administrative and data support for acute research trials and research staff
  • Offer valuable support to Research Nurses with data and paperwork
  • Ensure clinical trials and studies are set up and approved in a timely manner

Person Specification
  • Good standard of education: English, Mathematics, and a science GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Computer qualification (e.g. European Computer Driving License, MOST) or ability to demonstrate a high standard of proficiency in MS Office and electronic file management
  • Data management, writing, and running reports
  • Experience of working in the NHS or similar organization
