Position: Structural Analysis Engineer

Our dedicated Asset Integrity Maintenance (AIM) team in Aberdeen is looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to enhance our capabilities at the AIBP office in Dyce, Aberdeen. If you are eager to play a role in this vital transition, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee work scopes and generate progress reports in alignment with established plans
  • Perform comprehensive analyses to understand the behavior of complex structures under various conditions
  • Offer technical assistance to clients regarding asset performance, design foundations, and integrity
  • Formulate and revise inspection strategies and criticality evaluations
  • Examine structural inspection reports and rectify discrepancies
  • Contribute to fabric maintenance strategies and engineering for development and repair initiatives
  • Provide technical insights into failure mechanisms and risk evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and protocols

  • Demonstrates substantial experience in operations
  • Exhibits strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills
  • Functions effectively as a communicator and team collaborator
  • Holds a proficient command of English, both spoken and written
