Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Subsea Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Subsea and Marine team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering excellence on our projects, providing technical expertise, and representing Xodus at client meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality engineering solutions for subsea structural projects
  • Provide technical expertise to ongoing projects, bids, and proposals
  • Represent Xodus at client meetings and presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • BEng/MEng in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional Chartered Status (or working towards)
  • Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude and willingness to work collaboratively
  • Interest in developing and progressing within an integrated team
  • Chartered Engineer with expertise in subsea structural engineering and design codes
  • Working knowledge of structural design codes, including AISC, API, EC3, and ISO
  • Good understanding of subsea piping layout, foundation design, and hydrodynamics
  • Knowledge of marine construction and installation operations
  • Proficiency in software such as FS2000 and MathCad
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of wave-induced fatigue in structural members
  • Experience in jacket design, rigid riser, and tie-in spool design
  • Knowledge of cathodic protection and coating specification
  • Decommissioning of offshore structures
  • Non-linear analysis experience
  • Onshore Civil Engineering experience
  • Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SACS, ABAQUS, ANSYS, and AutoDesk
