Job Summary

Church Road Surgery, a well-established general practice, is seeking a part-time medical receptionist/administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Answering calls and responding to patient inquiries
  • Booking appointments and managing the practice's schedule
  • Preparing prescriptions and handling patient documents
  • Providing administrative support to the practice team
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases

Requirements

  • Good standard of general education
  • Experience working with the general public and in a reception role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of EMIS or similar practice management systems

About Us

Church Road Surgery is a GP training practice delivering family-centred continuity of care to 5,000 patients. Our team comprises of 3 GPs, a Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, and HCAs, as well as an excellent admin team and additional roles.
