Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of Operations with Mandarin language skills to join our team at People First. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing daily cash movement reports, preparing payments, and resolving discrepancies in settlement amounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Prepare daily cash movement reports, manage payments preparation, and investigate discrepancies in settlement amounts.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain counterparties' information, reconcile cash breaks, and actively participate in projects for new systems and new products launches.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with leadership, provide updates on issues, concerns, and successes, and collaborate with the Head Office and IT to ensure efficient department operations.
  • Support and Coverage: Assist department members in handling operational issues, provide coverage for other back-office functions as needed, and undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager and the Head of Operations.

Requirements:

  • Mandarin Language Skills: Fluency in Mandarin is required for this role.
  • Operational Experience: Proven experience in banking or finance operations is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SWIFT, payment, and loan administration systems is required.
