Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin speaking trader to join our Financial Market Department. As a Mandarin speaking trader, you will be responsible for managing liquidity in bank accounts, analysing cash flow, and utilising financial instruments to make capital arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liquidity Management: Manage liquidity in bank accounts, analyse cash flow, and utilise diversified financial instruments to make reasonable capital arrangements.
- Transaction Systems: Assist in preparing the infrastructure required for money market business, including producing policies and procedures, building transaction systems, and establishing counterparties and clients database.
- Market Analysis: Analyse the cash flow of each current account (Nostro account) and report significant market changes to Department Head/Senior Management in a timely manner.
- Fund Management: Ensure efficient use of bank's funds, manage and monitor bond portfolios, and promptly escalate any potential risk to Department Head/Senior Management.
- Counterparty Management: Maintain and expand trading counterparties of the bank to ensure that funds can be lent out and borrowed in at reasonable market pricing.
- Client Management: Maintain and expand trading clients base, maintain daily communication with clients, and expand money market business of trading accounts.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Actively communicate and cooperate with relevant departments in the bank to conduct cross-department marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Mandarin Language Skills: Fluent level of Mandarin and English in speaking and writing.
- Trading Experience: Long-time experience in overseas money market business, with deep understanding of money market and relevant financial products.
- Wholesale Banking Background: Experiences in wholesale banking background and bank's liquidity management.
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
