About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead for Neonatal Services to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of neonatal care and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee clinical operations within the neonatal unit, ensuring seamless care and coordination with maternity services.
  • Collaborate closely with perinatal governance teams to contribute to policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Drive the development of neonatal services, working closely with the obstetric team to provide a high-class perinatal service.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety.
  • Participate in relevant audit and quality assurance processes, including the National Neonatal Audit Program (NNAP) and the Saving Babies Lives document.
