We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead for Neonatal Services to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our paediatric department, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in neonatal care, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee clinical operations within the neonatal unit, ensuring seamless care and coordination with maternity services.
- Collaborate closely with the perinatal multidisciplinary team to develop and implement quality improvement strategies.
- Drive the development of neonatal services, working closely with the paediatric governance lead to respond to safety incidents and neonatal risk management.
- Participate in relevant audit and quality assurance processes, including the National Neonatal Audit Program (NNAP) and the Saving Babies Lives document.
- Provide teaching and training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to the development of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- MRCPCH or equivalent qualification.
- Full GMC registration and licence.
- Level 3 Child Protection Training.
- APLS and NLS qualifications.
Desirable qualifications include an MSC in a relevant field and SPIN in Neonatology.
