About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our team as a Neonatal Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the future of neonatal care at Torbay Hospital, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee clinical operations within the neonatal unit, ensuring seamless care and collaboration with maternity services.
  • Engage in perinatal governance, contributing to policy development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Drive the development of neonatal services, working closely with the obstetric team to provide a high-class perinatal service.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff, ensuring high-quality care and education.
  • Participate in relevant audit and quality assurance processes, including the National Neonatal Audit Program (NNAP) and the Saving Babies Lives document.
