Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct a team of up to 20 employees, varying by location.
  • Maintain the yard and storage areas in accordance with corporate standards.
  • Manage the opening and closing procedures of the retail outlet, ensuring the security of company assets.
  • Implement customer service strategies that align with company policies to foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Ensure all vehicles are operated and maintained in compliance with company protocols.
  • Optimize operational efficiency to reduce unnecessary costs.
  • Uphold Health & Safety regulations.
  • Drive overall sales performance of the store.
  • Provide practical and professional sales guidance to both existing and potential customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven management experience with a strong capability to mentor, inspire, and lead a team.
  • Outstanding organizational and scheduling abilities with a talent for multitasking.
  • Highly disciplined with a track record of adhering to company and industry standards.
  • Background in the Building Supplies sector and familiarity with contractors is essential.
  • Proficient in managing operations within a defined budget.
  • Dedication to driving sales and establishing a loyal customer base.
  • Ambitious individual with a commitment to achieving high performance.
  • Competent in working within a digital environment.
  • Excellent customer service capabilities.
  • Must be physically able to lift heavy materials.
