Job Title: Director - Technology Risk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Technology Risk to join our team at Change Digital - Digital & Tech Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in technology risk management, ensuring the effective implementation of controls and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of the Technology Controls Library and support key stakeholders in making risk-based decisions.
  • Own, coordinate, and operate control oversight activities, including scheme attestations and annual control testing schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at an advanced level, challenging and enabling them to discharge their accountabilities in relation to risk management.
  • Work under own initiative to plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures, ensuring they align with organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage risk, exploring the depth and breadth of problems and helping clients self-discover and articulate the value of solutions.
  • Understand business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as organizational structure.
  • Experience in assurance activity, including control testing, and cyber-related risks and issues, leveraging the NIST framework.
  • Practiced in policy, standards, and process reviews and adherence of first-line defense teams to these.

Requirements:

  • Experience in technology risk management and assurance.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with the NIST framework and cyber-related risks.
