This is an exciting opportunity to join a financial services organisation in the UK as a Technology Risk and Controls Manager. The purpose of Technology Controls is to provide leadership and oversight of the control environment, enabling colleagues to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight of the Technology Controls Library and support key stakeholders with expert guidance.
- Own, coordinate, and operate control oversight activities, including scheme attestations and annual control testing schedules.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to inform and support risk-based decision-making.
- Work under own initiative to plan, organise, prioritise, and oversee activities to meet business objectives.
- Monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organisational strategies and objectives.
- Experience in assurance activity, including control testing, of key controls.
- Knowledge of cyber-related risks and issues, leveraging the NIST framework.
- Practiced in policy, standards, and process reviews, and adherence of first line of defence teams to these.
